Apparently the family of the prospective buyer is very involved in the decision-making process.
As of yesterday, the buyer agent let us know that the family is still trying to decide between my place and a short sale that just listed in the building. The short sale property is bigger and cheaper, but on a lower floor.
So in the meantime we are moving full-steam ahead with preparations for listing.

Good luck! This selling stuff is hard....we got an offer, clean, they did not want closing costs or anything....but had the inspection 2 days ago and have not heard a thing.....I am so nervous that something bad was found and they are pulling out...that would KILL ME! On the bright side, the day after the inspection, the lady (buyer) posted on her blog (which I found via googling her name) is still refering to the house as "her future home"...so we shall see!
