Six hours

Today my agent and I spent six hours touring different homes and neighbhorhoods.

At the start of the day, I had several potential contenders. I was able to take some off the list completely.

Here's a reminder if you're trying to sell a home: make sure it smells nice or at least doesn't smell bad.

One building had no elevator. I'm not about to start trekking up flights of stairs every day. I don't even want to think about a move into that building.

We stopped by that gorgeous rowhouse in Mt. Vernon Square and on the inside it lived up to the pictures. The bad news: the block and entire neighbhorhood are worse than I expected - and my expectations were low.

We saw a very nice 1 bedroom condo on the west side of Dupont. The only problem: the kitchen was so small that you could not take a step to your left or right. There was only enough room for one person to stand. That's it.

So bottom line: my agent says he will keep looking and of course I'll be online everyday looking for new listings too.
