Small Capitol Hill Rowhouse

So since it seems there is support for the "keep looking" option, I went tonight after work to check out a small rowhouse on Capitol Hill. The picture is kind of crazy looking so hopefully the listing agent replaces it with a better image. In any case, the beauty of this property is no condo fees. It is a stand alone, fee simple property.

It is about four blocks from the Eastern Market metro station and it sits on quite a lovely tree-lined street. I saw neighbors walking home from work and they were quite friendly and others walking their dogs.

I snapped some photos during the home tour and you can see them here.

You can also find out more information about the listing here.

I think there would be a few projects: like changing the exterior trim color to something other than black and probably replacing the unsightly front door. I'm not sure how I feel about the spiral stairs. I think I could potentially become tired of those quickly. Another odd thing about the place: there were tons of spider webs in the front yard ... and inside I even saw spider webs in the corner. Does this mean a potential spider infestation? I mean I came home and have a bunch of tiny "bug" bites on me.

But back on the positive side, I love the back yard for Gabbie!

  1. The yard needs some updating nad TLC for sure, and you can always get a pest inspection as well as a regular inspection.....
It is cute but not my favorite of ones you have posted before.....cute on the less....
Oh, and I really like the sky light above the staircare, but agree, might get sick of those quick!
