Warmth

Lastnight after work, I was out shopping for new shoes and somehow I ended up at Cost Plus World Market.

I know. Me at a home goods store. Can you believe it?

Browsing through the aisles, I spotted a contemporary framed print and thought it might work in my living room.

See, here's the deal. Remember the photography I bought a few months ago at the Georgetown flea market? It is nice, but the living room needed something .... else.

Let me remind you of how the photography looked in the living room. Not bad. But not great either.

And below is a picture I snapped of the new print on the wall. I think it pops nicely against the neutral grey color in the living room. The print is called "Warmth" by an artist named Volk.

And here is how the print looks over the sofa. It's dimensions are 38" by 38". The colors in the print are vivid and rich. It really pulls the whole room together.

Normally you see square prints this size over a fireplace, but for now, it'll do. And it works better than those black and white photos, yeah?

Besides, if my next home has a fireplace, then I already know what'll go over it!
