Time Flies

I just clicked over to this blog and realized I've left everyone completely out of the loop on my never-ending house hunt.

Here is the lastest:

The offer on that Alexandria townhouse did not work out and it's probably for the best. I ended up closing on my Arlington, Virginia condo on August 31. We moved out the same day and it was a completely chaotic day but everything turned out just fine.

I am now renting an apartment in DC at the Newseum and loving it! I am only a five minute walk to work, I can come home at lunchtime, and I have all of my necessities (peace and quiet, parking, etc.). I told my agent that if this building ever converts to condominiums, I am first in line to buy.

Unfortunately, that is not happening any time soon, so my house search goes on.
